VILLA GESELL: Kicillof inauguró un nuevo Centro de Atención Primaria de la Salud en el barrio La Carmencita
El gobernador de la provincia de Buenos Aires, Axel Kicillof, inauguró este miércoles un nuevo Centro de Atención Primaria de la Salud (CAPS) en el barrio La Carmencita del municipio de Villa Gesell, junto a los ministros de Salud, Nicolás Kreplak, y de Infraestructura y Servicios Públicos, Gabriel Katopodis; y el intendente local, Gustavo Barrera.
En ese marco, Kicillof destacó que “en la provincia de Buenos Aires creemos en una salud pública cercana e integral, que esté en condiciones de dar respuesta ante una emergencia pero que, además, promueva la prevención en cada uno de los barrios”. “Es por ello que la atención primaria es un elemento central de nuestro sistema: aquí no estamos inaugurando una salita, sino un gran espacio con seis consultorios y el equipamiento necesario para garantizar el acceso a una prestación de calidad”, agregó.
Las nuevas instalaciones permitirán ampliar la cobertura pública en el primer nivel de atención en beneficio de 37 mil vecinos y vecinas del distrito, así como también descomprimir la demanda en unidades de mayor complejidad.
Al respecto, Kreplak sostuvo: “Este es el centro n°167 que estamos inaugurando para ampliar la accesibilidad de los y las bonaerenses: nunca se había apostado tanto por la salud pública en los 135 municipios”. “En la Provincia no nos importa dónde se nace o cuánto dinero se tiene: la atención sanitaria debe efectuarse de forma gratuita y con calidad para todos y todas”, indicó.
A partir de una inversión de $1.084 millones, con financiamiento del Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo (BID), el CAPS cuenta con seis consultorios de atención general, uno odontológico y otro ginecológico; vacunatorio, dispensario de medicamentos, office de enfermería y SUM.
Por su parte, el intendente Barrera subrayó: “Esta inauguración es un sueño hecho realidad para los vecinos de Villa Gesell y refleja una gestión provincial enfocada en las necesidades de su gente”. “Desde el municipio acompañamos estas políticas para que los esfuerzos del Gobierno provincial sigan llegando a la región”, añadió.
“Más allá de la palabras, nosotros demostramos con acciones la importancia de contar con un Estado presente: aquí no podíamos seguir esperando que llegara la mano invisible del mercado, hacía falta invertir para incluir a todos y todas”, sostuvo Kicillof, quien además anunció que en los próximos meses se llamará a licitación para la primera etapa de la construcción del hospital subzonal de Villa Gesell.
Durante la jornada, las autoridades recorrieron las obras en ejecución del centro comunitario “La Carmencita” y del edificio donde se emplaza la nueva cancha municipal de hockey.
Por último, Kicillof resaltó: “Aunque nos quieran fundir y asfixiar financieramente desde el Gobierno nacional, nosotros vamos a seguir haciendo un gran esfuerzo para avanzar con las obras públicas que necesitan los bonaerenses y para continuar también con proyectos abandonados por la Nación”. “En la Provincia tenemos el mandato de defender a nuestro pueblo, y eso solo es posible con más salud pública, educación e infraestructura”, finalizó.
Estuvieron presentes también la subsecretaria de Priorización y Seguimiento Económico y Productivo, Ayelén Borda; el diputado provincial Gustavo Pulti; el secretario de Salud local, Miguel Muñoz; la presidenta del Honorable Concejo Deliberante de Villa Gesell, Myrian Oillataguerre; concejales y concejalas; y la directora del CAPS, Adriana Herrera.
